The RSVP survey showed a need to focus on telling a cohesive story:
The takeaways from this discussion were:
– Be clear on your goals – it’s hard to tell a cohesive story about you and your experience if you don’t know what you want.
– It’s up to you what story you tell and what you include/don’t include.
– Sharing your value requires you to know your value.
– Understand your accomplishments and achievements and use them to tell your story for a particular purpose – be selective.
– Be authentic and genuine – avoid being too formal, stiff, boring.
