Sonya L. Sigler is a consultant and start-up coach, specializing in the operations, business development, and legal functions. She is a frequent writer and speaker on electronic discovery issues, technology assisted review software, in-house counsel issues, other law related topics, as well as career management, fundraising, and grant writing. Ms. Sigler was the Vice President of Product Strategy & Consulting at Discovia. She was a founder of Cataphora and prior to that worked as in-house counsel at Intuit and Sega. Ms. Sigler has been an active member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (on the Litigation and Small Law Department Committees), the American Bar Association, and The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production. She is active in her community and most recently was the Production Chairman for the 2016 San Carlos Chickens’ Ball and is a Board Member of the San Carlos Charter Learning Center. Past board work has included Verify Valid, the Women in Interactive Entertainment Association, Women in Technology Advisory Board, and the Nova Vista Symphony. When not working she enjoys knitting, auto-crossing porsches, playing trombone, and chauffeuring her three sons to sporting and school events. She is an inventor and holds 5 patents. Ms. Sigler holds a JD from Santa Clara University and a BA in Philosophy with a music minor from UC Berkeley and is a member of the California State Bar.
